The Japan Neuroscience Society (JNS) is an academic organization of scientists who study the brain and nervous system and wish to publish their findings in order to promote the welfare and culture of humans.

The primary goal of the IBB is to motivate students to learn about the brain and to inspire them to pursue careers in neuroscience so they can help treat and find cures for brain disorders.
The adopted mascot character will be used for academic outreach activities, printed materials related to the academic conference, the academic website, the Japan Neuroscience Society, etc.
