Call for CNS travel award application (deadline: April 28 at noon JST)
Dear JNS members,
The 14th Chinese Neuroscience Meeting will be held in Chongqing on September 16-19, 2021: https://www.cns.org.cn/2021/en-index.html
(The meeting will be held on site only.)
In recent years, JNS is enhancing the relationship with the Chinese Neuroscience Society (CNS) and invites several young scientists to the Annual Meeting with travel award. Reciprocating our initiative, the CNS also welcomes Japanese young scientists to their biennial meeting with travel award.
For the upcoming 14th CNS meeting in Chongqing, CNS will provide 6 travel awards, each award consisting of 1000 USD for travel and accommodation and a waiver of the registration fee.
Here we announce a call for application for the CNS travel award with the deadline of April 28 (Thu) at noon JST. Applicants (students or postdocs) are requested to prepare application materials including their name, age, affiliation, position, JNS membership number, motivation letter (within either 400 characters in Japanese or 250 words in English), and an abstract in a MS Word file (within one A4 page). All documents should collated into a single file and sent to the JNS office (email@example.com
) as a file attachment with the email title of "Application for CNS travel award".
While JNS encourages our members to take advantage of the international networking opportunity especially between China and Japan, in view of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, awardees are requested to consult travel advisories from relevant governmental organizations before travelling.
