[Overview of admission process]
Membership to this society requires a recommendation from one person (regular or overseas regular member). The admission process is as follows. More details are provided in the ensuing sections.
|1)||Issue of a recommendation code by a recommender (An email is sent to the applicant)|
|2)||Application submission by the applicant (Enter your personal information)
*At this time, a recommendation code and the recommender’s member ID and name are required for input.
|3)||Payment of the admission and annual fees|
|4)||Assessment by the Director of General Affairs
*If there are no concerns, the admission is granted and a new member can log on to the member website.
The following explains the details of the process.
1) Issue of a recommendation code by a recommender (An email is sent to the applicant)
A recommender must log on to the member website and follow the steps below. Separately, please provide your membership ID to the applicant in advance.
|i)||After logging on to the member website, click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. A menu will become visible. Click “Recommend someone for membership”.|
|ii)||Click on “Send mail” button.|
|iii)||Input the “Applicant's name” and “Applicant's e-mail address”, then click on “Confirm” button.|
|iv)||After reviewing the content, click the “Send mail” button. An e-mail containing the recommender’s name and a recommendation code will be sent to the applicant.|
|v)||The email record will be kept in the “Mail history”. (A recommendation code can be confirmed here.)|
2) Application submission by the applicant (Enter your personal information)
|i)||Access the below link and click on “Register” button.
|ii)||Follow the instructions on the page to input your information and click on the “Confirm” button at the bottom of the page. After reviewing the content on the “Registration Confirmation” page, click “Registration” button.
*At this time, you are required to input the recommendation code, and the membership ID and name of the recommender.
* A recommendation code is valid for 14 days after it is issued. If it becomes invalid, please ask the recommender to re-issue a new code.
* Right after an application is submitted, the member is still temporarily registered; therefore, the member ID displayed at this stage may change later.
3) Payment of the admission and annual fees
You will receive an email titled “Please pay admission and annual fees” at the registered email address. Click on the URL provided in the email, and follow the instructions on the screen to pay for the admission and annual fees.

Student member ･･･ 3,000 JPY per year
Overseas Student member ･･･ 1,000 JPY per year
+ one-time admission fee upon joining 3,000 JPY
