The Brain Prize is the world’s largest prize for neuroscience, founded by the Lundbeck Foundation. It is awarded to one or more scientists who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to any field of neuroscience, from basic to clinical. The prize may be awarded to scientists of any nationality, working in any country in the world and in any field of neuroscience.
Nominations are open for The Brain Prize 2026 from 1 May to 1 September. Detailed information about the prize and the nomination process is available at
