We are pleased to announce that the Japan Neuroscience Society has become a general incorporated association as of April 3, 2023. The new Board of Directors was elected in an election held November 8-22, 2022, as previously reported in Neuroscience News.
In accordance with the bylaws of this general incorporated association, we announce that the Board of Directors has elected the following President based on candidacy and balloting:

His official term of office will begin following a resolution passed by the general assembly of members in May or June. For the time being, he will serve as President-Elect.
