Researcher recruitment: Assistant Professor Position at the Division of Sensory and Cognitive Brain Mapping, Department of System Neuroscience, National Institute for Physiological Sciences, National Institutes of Natural Sciences

The Division of Sensory and Cognitive Brain Mapping is a newly established division led by Prof. Hiromasa Takemura. The division’s goal is to elucidate the neural basis of sensory and cognitive information processing in the human brain by combining functional and structural neuroimaging using ultra–high field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with psychophysical measurements. We are looking for an individual to work with Prof. Takemura to conductstudies on above research topic. Applicants must be willing to work on the division's research in a proactive manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychophysical research that targets human sensory systems, but it is not a requirement. For details, please refer to a following PDF file.
