HORIZONS IN NEUROSCIENCE - ORGANOIDS,
OPTOGENETICS AND REMOTE CONTROL
Dear members of the Japan Neuroscience Society
I kindly want to call your attention to the international meeting “HORIZONS IN NEUROSCIENCE - ORGANOIDS, OPTOGENETICS AND REMOTE CONTROL”, organized by the study group Molecular Neurobiology of the German Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM e.V.).
The meeting will take place from 28.-30. September in Bochum, Germany, and focusses on novel techniques in neuroscience such as the therapeutic application of iPS cell derived neurons for disorders of the nervous system, organoids, remote control of cellular functions by magnetic manipulation and optogenetics, as well as high resolution microscopy. These topics will be presented by neuroscientists from Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Great Britain, Japan, and the USA.
Besides the scientific program, the meeting offers plenty of chances for networking. In addition, young researchers have the opportunity to present their research in poster sessions and to be selected for a poster presentation. The best poster will also be awarded with a poster price.
If you are interested in attending the meeting, feel free to contact me for further information:
