Open Postdoctoral Position at University of Iowa
– Inner Ear Gene Therapy

There is an open joint post-doctoral position in the laboratories of Samuel Young, PhD and Marlan Hansen, MD at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Iowa City, IA.

The Young and Hansen laboratories are working in collaboration to develop novel viral vector mediated gene therapy approaches to treat sensorineural hearing loss.


Candidates must have a PhD in a related scientific discipline and at least one first author publication. A background in virology, mouse models, inner ear biology, and hearing is preferred.
