第6回 FAONS(アジアオセアニア神経科学学会連盟)
シンポジウムの開催案内
The 6th FAONS symposium will be held in Hong Kong from 23 to 26 Aug 2026. This meeting is jointly organized with the Asian-Pacific Society for Neurochemistry (APSN) and hosted by the Hong Kong Society of Neurosciences (HKSN).
By partnering with APSN and HKSN, FAONS looks forward to welcoming a broad and vibrant community of neuroscientists from across the Asian-Oceanian region, united under the meeting theme "United for Advancing Neuroscience in Asia-Pacific". In addition to rich scientific exchange, participants will have the opportunity to explore Hong Kong's unique cultural landscape, a dynamic blend of Eastern and Western heritage.
The conference will feature:
- Six distinguished plenary speakers from Australia, Canada, China, Japan, and the United States, including recipients of the Brain Prize and other prestigious scientific awards, as well as academicians of national academies.
- More than 20 symposia and Young Investigators Colloquia spanning a wide range of neuroscience disciplines
- Special sessions on Bridging Basic and Clinical Neuroscience
- Dedicated sessions on Neuroethics, Diversity and Inclusion, Ethnicity, and Scientific Publishing
- Participation by representatives of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS)
- Opportunities for early-career researchers and trainees to present their work and engage with leading experts
This meeting promises to provide an exciting platform for both established and emerging neuroscientists from the Asia-Pacific region, and beyond to connect, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations. Abstract submission and early-bird registration remain open until 31 May 2026.
